There are so many weight loss diets and weight loss plans to choose from.
How do you decide which weight loss plan is best for you?
1. Will This Weight Loss Diet Teach Me to Eat Right in the Long Term?
Any diet or weight loss product that doesn’t teach you how to improve your eating habits is not going to solve your weight problem.
So ignore fad diets, single-food diets, unbalanced diets, liquid diets, high protein diet plans, very-low-calorie diets, food-combining plans, diet pills, weight loss supplements and so-called ‘fat-burning’ or ‘fat-loss’ supplements. Even though weight loss surgery may be useful if medically recommended, it can’t improve your eating habits.
2. Is This Weight Loss Diet Something I Can Follow for the Rest of My Life?
Any diet plan or weight loss program that offers a short-term solution to your weight problem is not likely to lead to permanent weight loss.
So ignore fasting diets, 3-day diets, 14-day diets, liquid diets, high protein diets, very-low-calorie diets and the like.

Weight gain usually occurs over a period of years. Successful weight loss is faster but it takes months rather than weeks. So quit trying to lose weight fast and aim for slow steady weight loss, instead.
