Exercise Improves Body Image & Self-esteem
Research shows that just 6 weeks of exercise can improve body image and self-esteem.
The results suggest that exercise boosts body image as women learn to look at their bodies for what they can do as well as what they look like.
Exercise improves flexibility, strength and all-round fitness. It also increases energy and helps balance the appetite.
Ideally take 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. This can be done all in one go or it can be broken up into 3 ten-minute sessions.
