easy. Getting extra motivation and support from a real weight loss expert

Diet Plans
Here are some short reviews of popular weight
loss diets and advice about healthy eating plans. In general, there is
no such thing as the 'best' diet. Some eating plans suit certain people
better than others. Even so, most dietitians and nutritionists advise
against fad diets that are either too low in calories (eg. under 1000
calories per day), or that lack sufficient nutrition (eg. very-low-carb
diets). At present, the consensus among diet experts is that the GI diet
is probably the optimum dietary method for most people. In essence, diets
based on the glycemic index promote high quality carbs, such as whole
grains, beans, vegetables and fruits, lean protein and moderate amounts
of good quality vegetable oils. Daily calorie intake may vary from 1200-1600
calories (for women), and 1600-2000 calories for men.
Weight Management Advice
Whatever diet program you choose, make sure
it provides effective motivation and encouragement. Any weight loss plan
which fails to offer this type of essential support is not likely to help
you achieve your weight loss goals. In fact, diet compliance rates among
obese dieters following unsupported diets are abysmally low. Long term
weight loss is rarely possible without such support, so choose a diet
program that provides it.
A Note about Healthy Weight Control
Fad diets, unbalanced diets, diet pills,
diet supplements, weight loss surgery and other short term weight loss
methods are not recommended for permanent weight control. The best way
to lose excess fat and maintain a healthy weight in the long term is to
follow a balanced calorie-controlled diet (that improves your eating habits)
and take regular aerobic exercise.
