Q. My diet problem is late-night eating. How can I stop? Usually, late-night eating is a sign you're not eating enough during the day. (In my experience, this is quite common in teenagers, especially vegetarians.) This causes a drop in blood sugar levels which leads to hunger. Then this becomes a habit and our body 'expects' to eat. If under-eating is the cause of your night-time eating, then try to eat more during the day. Be sure to include a good helping of potatoes (pasta or rice) with your evening meal. Also, many mothers of young children suffer from late night eating. They 'treat' themselves as a relaxation and reward. Suggestion |
