Q. Dieting is difficult for me as my children insist on having fries with
everything. I know I must reduce fat to lose weight. What can I do?
A. You're right. The best
and easiest way to reduce calories is to reduce your fat intake. Ideally,
try to introduce your children to more pasta, rice and baked potatoes.
If this is not possible, then the best solution is to make your fries
in a way that you can eat them without hurting your diet.
Scrub some large potatoes,
leave the skin on, and cut them into slices or chunks. Rinse them several
times in cold water, dry, and spread them on a non-stick baking tray.
Spray with non-fat cooking spray and bake for 25-35 minutes. Perfect for
